Peace and blessings to you! As we come to the end of Lent, I pray that your Lent was spirit filled and intensely focused on Jesus Christ—the one who calls us out of darkness into his own wonderful light. At our First Communion Mass, it was wonderful to watch our young people participate actively in the liturgy with holy innocence as they received the Eucharist for the first time—their enthusiasm for Christ was remarkably. These little angels remind us that God is living and active in our world. Their love for Christ in the Eucharist calls us to actively participate in the life of the Church and be authentic witnesses to the faith.
When things seems to be negative and we cannot find goodness in the world—look to your children to help you discover that God is truly present amongst us. Be positive and speak words of kindness. In all things, give thanks to God and seek his face at all times. Remain blessed! Fr. Patrick
