Dear Parishioners,

The Scott County Health Department has been in contact with me regarding a person who attended the 10:00am Mass on Sunday, July 5.  There is a positive confirmation that this person has the COVID 19 virus.  If you attended this particular Mass and are concerned about your own well-being, please contact your family physician OR the Scott County Health Department.  Please note the following symptoms of the virus:  fever, chills, muscle aches, runny nose, sore throat, taste disorders, headache, fatigue, cough, wheezing, shortness of breath/difficulty in breathing, chest pain, nausea/vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.  At the recommendation of the Scott County Health Department, we will be making the following changes at Mass (which were implemented before):  (1) no singing or music; (2) the distribution of Holy Communion will be at the CONCLUSION of the Mass.  If in the next week or so more cases are reported and confirmed among parishioners, we will discontinue the celebration of Mass until further notice.  If you are not feeling well or have any of the above-mentioned symptoms, PLEASE STAY AT HOME!!!!!!!  We are providing face masks, gloves, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes for you to use when you attend Mass.  These items are available in the entrance of the church.  Let us continue to keep one another in prayer!        Father David
