Ugly Quilts

Posted on April 05, 2019 in: General News

“Ugly Quilts” is an ongoing project to make sleeping bags for the homeless. The group meets every Wednesday at 8-11 am all year at the St. Vincent de Paul Center in Cape. The Women of St. Francis Xavier are helping with this project in order to supply our local Warming Center in Sikeston (which has used more than 40 this year). They go to Cape the first Wednesday of the month and will meet at our Rectory on the third Wednesday of each month from 9-12 noon to tie these quilts. For more information or to volunteer either of these times, call Sharon at 472-0517 or email chou1943@att.net.
