Dear Friends in Christ,

Peace and blessings to you!  I pray this note finds you doing very well and I hope that your Thanksgiving break was a spirit filled one!

Advent is a wonderful opportunity for us to prepare our hearts and homes for the coming of our Lord and Savior – the God who calls us out of darkness into his own wonderful light.  It is indeed a time of grace when God seeks to prepare our hearts so as to welcome his only begotten son into our lives.  Advent prepares us for that beautiful encounter with the Son of God.

I pray that during this Advent season you are able to encounter God who is mercy in the sacrament of reconciliation – if you have not been to confession in the past month, I ask and encourage you to go to confession – a sacrament of grace that restores us to God.

Please mark your calendars for our Advent parish Mission given by Deacon Harold Burke-Sivers a world renowned speaker who is often featured on EWTN and has travelled all over the world giving talks – I am elated to welcome this great man of faith to our parish – plan on attending the parish mission with your family and friends.  The full schedule is in the bulletin and also on our parish website.

Be at peace and remain blessed.
