Since January 1 falls on Monday this year, it is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation, though the faithful are still encouraged to attend Mass to celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God, and to thank God for the gift of a New Year. Please note that the only Mass for January 1 will be on Monday at 9:00am. There will NOT be any Masses offered on the evening before. May the New Year be filled with God’s abundant graces and blessings for us!

According to Canon Law (the law of the Church), the pastor of a parish has the right and obligation to celebrate the Sacraments with those under his care. Another priest would be able to celebrate the Sacraments with the permission of the pastor. To schedule all Sacraments celebrated in the parish, you need to first contact Father David before contacting any other priest to celebrate a Sacrament. At his discretion, the pastor can delegate another priest to celebrate the Sacrament. Thanks for your consideration and cooperation!
