Fazoli's Fundraiser

Birthright Tree

A Christmas Tree is located in the sanctuary of the church during the Christmas Season which includes of list of needed items for Birthright in Cape Girardeau. The needs list is also posted on the vestibule bulletin board. Consider purchasing the requested items, wrap them, bring them to the church, and place them around the Christmas Tree located next to the statue of the Blessed Mother. Thanks for your generosity!

Notre Dame Placement Test

Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape has scheduled their Placement Exam for the Class of 2024 for Saturday, January 18, at 8:15 am. All eighth graders interested in taking the exam should report to Notre Dame at 8:00 am. Please bring two #2 pencils and a calculator. Administration, Faculty, and Staff will be present to answer any questions for parents or give tours of the building. Students or parents interested in Notre Dame should call the School Office for information (573-335-6772).

Arriving for Mass

There seems to be a growing trend for more and more people to arrive late for Mass (both weekday and weekend Mass). At times, there are always situations out of our control which may make a person late for Mass. If arriving late has become a regular trend or pattern for you, please make some adjustments in your schedule. It has been the practice and teaching of the Church that in order to receive Holy Communion at Mass as well as fulfilling one's Sunday Obligation, a person needs to be present by the time the Gospel is read.
